Meet Anna-Rose Klingenstein
– Where are you originally from?
New York City.
– When and where did you start riding?
In Maine when I was eight years old.
– If there is a story about why you started riding, please tell.
I honestly don’t remember much about my life before I started riding. I just tried it one day at a local farm near my summer home and the rest is history! My cousin also rides and I think seeing his pictures on my aunt’s fridge and all his ribbons made me want to do it.
– Can you list some highlights from your junior and amateur years?
- Circuit Champion Low Adult Jumpers 18-35 at WEF 2012
- Second place USHJA Horse Of The Year Low Adult Jumpers
- Clinic in November 2012 with George Morris
– What horses do you currently ride and show?
Just Like Me aka “Icaro.” I just bought another horse I will start showing this summer but I’m keeping his identity a secret until our debut 🙂
– Who do you train with?
Tracey Jackson
– What are your riding goals for this year?
More than anything I would love to get enough points to compete at finals and Indoors.
– How has FTI WEF been going for you so far?
Really well, it’s been a lot of fun and I’ve learned a lot this year. I’m hoping everything I’ve learned up to this point really clicks in so I can have a successful second half of the circuit.
